Elon Musk declares war on the media.
Elon Musk has taken time of from electric cars and Mars rockets to tackle what he thinks is really hurting his company and the world at large at this moment, the main stream media. In a series of tweets in the last few days he has attacked the media, its credibility, its bias, lies and manipulations. His attacks were prompted after what he termed as a negativity campaign against his company “Tesla”, which was orchestrated by the media, on the behest of the “fossil fuel companies & gas/diesel car companies are among world’s biggest advertisers.” He went on to suggest that he will start a website that will monitor the media, journalists and news editors and the public will rank them according their truthfulness and correct reporting of the news.
After publishing his tweets, He was immediately attacked by media outlets and journalists who attacked him personally, compared him to Donald Trump (which is the ultimate evil in their eyes and what they consider to be the worst imaginable insult) and went on to basicly prove his point about how the media is biased. Leading the media's counter attack frenzied charge, was of course none other then "facts first" CNN.
