Head of EU defends father of Communism Karl Marx, says he did nothing wrong.
The president of the European Commission sparked fury across Europe last night as he joined celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of Karl Marx’s birth. Juncker even went on as far as to defend Karl Marx’s record as a philosopher, arguing that he is not “responsible” for mistakes and atrocities committed in his name after his death.
In a speech in the German philosopher–economist’s hometown of Trier to mark his 200th birthday, Jean-Claude Juncker said that “Marx isn't responsible for all the atrocity his alleged heirs have to answer for”. The event which was held in Germany also saw the unveiling of a massive 5.5 meters Karl Marx statue, which was donated to Germany by the totalitarian Chinese Communist party as a sign the great amount of respect and appreciation the world's largest dictatorship has for Karl Marx.

Politicians from Eastern Europe, much of which was subjected to the misery of Communist rule, were also enraged.
A group of Hungarian MEPs decried the EU Commission chief for gracing the event, which marked the 200th anniversary of Marx’s birth.
In a statement they said: “This is particularly appalling for the citizens of countries which suffered for decades under Communist dictatorships.
“We oppose the European Commission head’s supportive presence at the celebration.” This is not the first time Juncker has praised Communism or one of its leader, when the Communist dictator Fidel Castro died, Juncker called him a “hero”.
In case Juncker didn't know, or was too drunk at the time, Marx was not some "innocent philosopher" who had his works hijacked by a bunch of extremists. What future Communist dictators like Lennin, Stalin, Mao, Castro and many more around the world actullay did was to follow the writings of Marx, to the letter, writings which outlined the creation of a totalitarian Communist regime. Mr. Juncker might want to google the some Marxist concepts such as "dictatorship of the proletariat." Just a reminder, Karl Marx is considered as being the father of Communism, an ideology that was responsible for the worst crimes in human history, over 100,000,000 deaths worldwide, and the enslavement of half of Europe after WW2 for 45 years. It seems that the EU and the people who head it have no problem defending and excusing a person who was responsible for Communism, while criticizing and sanctioning democratically elected governments and politicians like in Hungary and Poland, who actually suffered for decades the consequences of the Marx's totalitarian and murderous ideology.
