Twitter admits it tried to help Hillary during the 2016 elections.

Twitter has revealed that it censored tweets critical of Hillary Clinton throughout the 2016 elections. Twitter basicly buried significant portions of tweets related to hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign chair John Podesta in the last two months of the 2016 presidential campaign. Twitter general counsel Sean Edgett said in his testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee that, “Approximately one quarter (25 per cent) of #PodestaEmails tweets received internal tags from our automation detection systems that hid them from searches.” “Our systems detected and hid just under half (48 per cent) of the Tweets relating to variants of another notable hashtag, #DNCLeak, which concerned the disclosure of leaked emails from the Democratic National Committee,” he added further. “It was part of our general efforts at the time to fight automation and spam on our platform across all areas,” Twitter counsel Sean Edgett said however he also noted that only two per cent of the tweets using the #DNCLeak hashtag were from potentially Russian-linked accounts.

Wikileaks had dumped thousands of documents on internet which belonged to Democratic National Committee (DNC) servers and Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta. WikiLeaks published the DNC and Podesta emails, which were damaging to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, throughout the election. Among other things, the leaked emails revealed party officials secretly aided Hillary Clinton during her primary battle against Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and exposed ostensibly neutral journalists as pro-Clinton partisans. The U.S. intelligence community concluded that Russian operatives were behind the original hacking of both the DNC and Podesta emails, which were part of Russian influence operations meant to disrupt the American electoral system. WikiLeaks and its founder Julian Assange are known to have numerous links to Russia and to its intelligence services, and Julian Assange was actually on the Kremlin's payroll for a while, hosting a show on Russia's state propaganda channel "RT". Now Twitter has openly accepted that its algorithms did try to bury tweets critical of Hillary by hiding them from its 330 million users, and in essence it tried to help Hillary Cliinton win the 2016 elections, and yet no one in the main stream media seems to mind that.
