Russia accuses Ukraine of trying to do what Russia did in Crimea in 2014.

The Russian President Vladimir Putin slammed Ukraine today for sending an armed incursion of special forces into the Russian occupied region of Crimea. Putin claimed that the Russian FSB (The re branded KGB) had foiled an armed military incursion and terrorist attacks in Crimea plotted by Ukrainian intelligence, which resulted in the deaths of a FSB agent and a Russian soldier. “ Moscow cannot turn a blind eye to the deaths of its servicemen who were killed during special operations to prevent terrorist attacks in Crimea.” Putin said. He said that the Ukrainian government was “stupid and criminal.” and “practiced terrorism”. This is coming from the dictator that invaded and conquered Crimea in 2014, and illegality annexed it the following year. “stupid and criminal” and “practiced terrorism” is a good description of How Russia has been treating Ukraine since 2014. After the Russian annexation of Crimea, Crimea, Russian forces invaded Eastern Ukraine and joined up with the Moscow backed “rebel” proxies to basically take over Eastern Ukraine and turn it into a Russian de facto controlled area. Ukraine has rejected the accusations. "This is fake information," a spokesman for Ukrainian defence intelligence said.

About 9,000 people are reported to have been killed in the conflict that followed the Russian annexation of Crimea, and people continue to die almost on a daily basis, all thanks to Russian terrorists and Russian sponsored terrorists who operate in Eastern Ukraine. It is feared that this incident, whether it happened or not, would be used by Russia and its propaganda machine to justify some sort further military action against Ukraine in the very near future.
