REVEALED - Following Brexit, Germany and France push for a European superstate.

One would think that the Brexit of the UK from the EU and the growing unpopularity that the idea of an ever closer political union among European states would signal to the EU, and to the two countries that head it, Germany in the driver's seat and France riding shotgun, that it's time for a different approach. One would think. However, following Britain’s referendum decision to leave the EU the foreign ministers of France and Germany have proposed creating a “European superstate” limiting the powers of individual member states. The proposals would mean members of the future European superstate would in practice have no right to their own army, to a separate criminal code or a separate tax system, and would not have their own currency. In addition member states would lose control over their own borders and procedures for admitting and relocating illegal migrants. The Polish government has acknowledged that it has received these proposals and the Polish foreign minister had even publicly criticized them as not being the right solution for the current crisis in the EU stating : “The mood in European societies is different. Europe and our voters do not want to give the Union over into the hands of technocrats. " Apparently, fearing that other countries will soon want to have their own referendums and possibly leave the EU, France and Germany are determined to make it impossible for any other country to do so, by making the a union of countries into a permanent, one, monolithic, European superstate from which no country will be able to escape in the future, even if it wanted to.
