Angelina Jolie is now a professor at the London School of Economics.

The Hollywood star has been appointed a visiting professor at the London School of Economics (LSE), one of Britain's most prestigious universities. She'll be teaching prospective students in a special one year course which will include modules on Women, Peace and Security, Gender and Militarisation and Gender and Human Rights. And why not? I mean she looks great, she's a Hollywood film star, and she's something at the UN, so why not appoint her as a professor at one of the world most prestigious universities? Come on don't be a hater, so who cares about academic standards, being a serious scholar and publishing peer reviewed articles and bla… bla.... bla... YAWN! So what if there are a millions of other people out there who are one million times more qualified to teach university students about those issues than she is? Who cares? Are they hot celebrities? Didn't think so! And in our brave new world that's all that matters!
